Super Joyful Mom

Last night, I was sitting down with many super mothers. All of them carried a painful story behind them. Some of them found their life partners unfaithful, few of them were beaten up by the other half, one of them was threatened by the loan shark because of the huge borrowing of her husband and family, another one of them was left behind with one young son as the husband was having a sudden heart attack. They do not have a choice but are forced to be “super mom..”

Life as supermom is definitely not easy, being the only breadwinner for the family and facing never enough funds to support the family, carrying out duties as father and mother of their children, fighting for time to sit down and rest awhile, having struggled in the society as people will have the color lens to view at them, being the maintenance guy at home, living in fear and insecure when the house is under attacked and etc... if all these super moms have a choice, none of them would like to be a super mom...

After spending years with my beloved supermoms, I saw many of them rising up strongly but sad to see some of them are still living in the old old problems and issues... why why why... is our God unfair, and has He forgotten some of them ???

What is the crucial point of success for a single mom to become a super and joyful mom?
 1. Forgive all the people who have wronged us intentionally and unintentionally and forget all their trespasses. As we choose to forgive, we will be the ones most benefited.
 2. Identify all the negative emotions ( betrayal, rejection, guilt, hatred and revenge, insecurity, fear of loss). Go back to God and ask Him to heal us gradually from all these. Without healthy emotions, none of us will become a super joyful mom.
 3. Simple child-like faith to cling to our Maker who is also our husband. Submit to His authority in all decisions. He knows what is best and gives the best to His children. Our future is totally completely in His hands.

Isaiah 54 : 4 “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. 5 For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth. 6 The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your God.  7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. 8 In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer.  9 “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. 10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

TO BE SUPER JOYFUL MOM IS OUR CHOICE
